This video is an introduction to AVM Alliance. AVM Alliance is a State of Texas registered Non-Profit Cooperation who has formally filed to become an official 501(c)3. OUR MISSION: To educate the public about pediatric stroke, show children who have this condition that they are not alone, provide valuable support and information to help families on their journey, raise awareness about this condition, and fund research for early diagnosis, treatment and a cure for brain vessel disease.OUR MASCOTS: AVM Alliance has three mascots to help spread awareness that stroke has no age limit. Artie V. is our pediatric AVM Awareness pig featuring the butterfly wings for a brain bleed survivor. Annie is our magical pediatric Aneurysm Awareness fox and Dash is our pediatric stroke awareness rabbit with “be fast” dragonfly wings. Together these characters showcase the childhood side of brain vessel disease and pediatric stroke.
