Having a child who has suffered a stroke can be a very challenging and emotionally draining experience for families. The journey to recovery can be long and difficult, and having support from others who have gone through a similar experience can be invaluable. That's why we're excited to announce the launch of a new online Support Specialist program for families with a child who has had a stroke.
The Support Specialist program is designed to match families with volunteers who have gone through a similar experience. This program is not only beneficial to the families, but also to the volunteers who can share their experiences and provide support and comfort to those who are going through a similar situation.
If you're interested in volunteering, we welcome you to share your experiences with others who may be going through a similar journey. You can help to provide hope and comfort to families who are facing similar challenges. Our program will match volunteers with families based on geographic location and experiences to ensure a positive experience for both the families and the volunteers.
To become a Support Specialist, you don't need any special qualifications or training. All you need is a willingness to share your experiences and provide support to those who need it. As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families who are going through a difficult time.
